The material features high oxidation resistance, providing extra protection against residues resulting from the interaction between aluminum and the hoof. Additionally, the aluminum used boasts high surface hardness, offering excellent resistance to abrasive wear (friction with the ground) and optimizing durability, which allows for reuse in specific cases.

Why Aluminum? Aluminum is the ideal material for both orthopedic and performance shoes due to:

• Low Density: Aluminum is approximately three times lighter than steel. This allows for the production of thick, wide shoes that remain lightweight, promoting smoother, more agile movements for athletic performance.

• High Shock Absorption: Aluminum significantly outperforms steel in impact absorption. While steel tends to vibrate the impact back into the podotrochlear apparatus, aluminum absorbs a substantial portion of the shock, preserving internal structures and increasing the athlete's longevity.

Western Line: The Western shoe features a "squared-off" shape, ideal for hooves trimmed with a wider profile and a straighter or flattened toe. The sole relief prevents direct contact with the hoof sole, protecting against sensitivity.

Biomechanical Characteristics and Effects:

• Thinner Branch: Features an internal spherical relief to increase ground penetration (deeper "sink-in"). Includes an external bevel to facilitate rolling and release the uninjured limb.

• Thicker Branch: Lacks the spherical relief and external bevel to prevent ground penetration (less "sink-in"), ensuring stability for the injured ligament.
