Wide Toe Round (Clipped)

Features and Mechanical effects:

Designed with a wide toe area to limit toe penetration (less sinking) and narrow branches with inner rim on ground side to promote heels penetration (more sinking). This shoes has a slight bevel out rim to help the rolling motion and a great support area on foot side to provide comfort and improve the load distribuition. The fissure on bottom of the toe facilitates manipulate the shoes when it’s necessary tha shape according to the hoof.

Therapeutic Effects:

• Reduces stresses on the suspensory ligament and on the superficial digital flexor tendon.
• Reduces general stress on the suspensory apparatus (suspensory ligament, proximal scutum, straight and oblique sesamoidean ligaments).

Indication:

• Desmopathy of the suspensory ligament.
• Pathology of the superficial digital flexor tendon.
• Desmopathy of the sesamoidean ligaments (straight and oblique).
• Arthrosis of the fetlock joint.
