Rail Shoe Advanced

Advanced Line Shoes were designed for Sports Horses following the European pattern on a round shape clipped. 

Shoe Features and Biomechanical Effects:

The Rail Shoe was designed to concentrate the weight close to the center of the foot and promotes the maximum toe rolling effect.

The narrow rails bring the support area to the center of the hoof and then relieve pressure on the hoof walls, whilst the wide rocker on toe switch the break-over point to the center of rotation.

The 5/8” thickness combined with wide rocker on toe signifcantly reduce the levers assuring a smooth break-over.

Therapeutic Effects:

The Rail shoe reduces significantly the front rolling levers smoothing the 'break-over' and then reducing tension on the deep digital flexor tendon. It also reduces stress on the joints, especially the distal and proximal joints.

The rails relieve the pressure on the hoof wall and also support medial and lateral rolling, thus reducing movement levers in all directions.
