Egg Bar Narrow Flat (Clipped)

Biomechanical Characteristics and Effects: The Egg Bar Narrow Flat features a "Narrow Shape"—longer and slimmer than standard shoes. This shoe offers a balanced structure that aids in uniform weight distribution, reducing joint pressure while enhancing the animal's stability and balance.

It is designed with a smooth bevel along its contour to assist in rolling, complemented by an internal spherical relief that allows the toe region to "sink-in" further for increased traction during movement. The sole relief prevents direct contact between the shoe and the hoof sole, protecting against sole sensitivity. The clips (guarda-cascos) ensure superior fixation and stability, and the steel insert provides excellent abrasion resistance, minimizing wear in the toe area.

Therapeutic Effects: Reduces stress on the distal sesamoid bone (navicular bone) and the Deep Digital Flexor Tendon (DDFT).

Indications:

• Indicated for pathologies of the Deep Digital Flexor Tendon.
